tuerk.net: care addresses and guides, Turkish and German
tuerk.net is a Turkish-German portal for Berlin. In autumn 2026 a care section was added: verified addresses of care services and counselling centres with Turkish-speaking staff, plus guide articles in both languages.
The task
Turkish-speaking families struggle to find care services in their language. The portal had to provide addresses that are actually correct and answer the key questions about care levels, applications and costs in plain language.
The implementation
69 addresses were verified by phone and recorded with their language offer, 20 guide topics written as Turkish/German pairs. Implemented in Joomla with language associations so every page exists in both languages and switching always leads to the matching version.
Special features
Maintenance rule: both language versions are edited together with every change and verified live. The call list for re-checking addresses lives in the internal portal.
