If you commission a website, you should know what it is built on. For many years we have relied on the content management system Joomla combined with the page builder YOOtheme Pro – a foundation that unites professional design, easy maintenance and clean technology, without chaining you to an agency. After launch we take on Joomla website support if you wish, even if your site was not built by us.
Why Joomla?
Joomla is one of the most established open-source CMS of all: actively developed for around two decades, without licence costs, with a worldwide community. For our clients, three things matter most: Joomla is multilingual out of the box (this very website runs bilingually on it), it has a fine-grained permission system for editorial teams, and it runs on any good hosting – you are not tied to any provider and can move your website at any time.
YOOtheme Pro: design without programming
The page builder YOOtheme Pro provides the design system: professional layouts, a large template library, clean responsive behaviour on all devices and fast loading times. For you this means: after a short introduction, you change texts, images and entire page sections yourself – without HTML knowledge and without paying an agency for every small change.
And if you need a shop?
For selling we rely on specialised systems: Shopware 6 for retail and B2B, WooCommerce as a flexible entry point based on WordPress. We choose the tool according to your requirements – not out of habit.
Joomla website support
Every system is only as secure as its updates. In our maintenance packages we look after the technology and your change requests – so security gaps never become a problem in the first place and your website stays up to date. This includes:
- Updates: we keep Joomla, YOOtheme Pro and all extensions up to date.
- Backups: daily data backup, restored from the backup whenever you need it.
- Security: we monitor your website's availability and close known vulnerabilities.
- Changes by WhatsApp or email: texts, images, opening hours – send your request as a message, voice message or screenshot. We usually implement small changes in under ten minutes and let you know as soon as they are live.
- Emergencies: if your website goes down or shows errors, we deal with it as quickly as possible and restore the last clean backup if necessary.
This also applies to Joomla websites built by another agency. The monthly package for new websites is described in our express offers; for online shops there is shop maintenance. And because you talk directly to the owner, support stays personal.
