Made-to-measure shelves: Shopware 6 shop with its own configurator
A Berlin workshop builds solid wood shelves to the millimetre. The new shop at regale.berlin combines Shopware 6 with a custom shelf configurator that calculates the price live.
The task
Every shelf is unique: the customer chooses width, height, depth, wood type and compartments. A classic shop with fixed articles cannot represent that. What was needed was a configurator that knows the workshop's rules and hands the result straight to the shop.
The implementation
Shopware 6.7 with its own theme, plus the configurator as a separate application under /konfigurator: the customer assembles the shelf, sees the price immediately and adds the configuration to the cart. Standard shelves are available alongside as regular products with variants.
Special features
Since September 2026 the shop runs under the new brand regale.berlin; the previous domain massivholzregale-berlin.de redirects permanently so old links and search engine entries keep working. Images are delivered as WebP so the image-heavy product pages load fast.
