Accessibility & BFSG
Since June 28, 2025, the German Accessibility Improvement Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) has been in force: many websites and online shops aimed at consumers must be accessible. This is more than an obligation – accessible sites are easier for all visitors to use, reach more people, and are ranked better by search engines.
We review your web presence against the relevant standards (WCAG 2.1 / EN 301 549), show you in plain terms where the barriers are, and implement the changes: contrast, keyboard operation, alternative texts, comprehensible structure, accessible forms and documents. On request as a compact accessibility check with an action list or as a complete implementation.
Please note: We do not provide legal advice. Whether and to what extent the BFSG applies to your business is something to clarify with your legal counsel if in doubt – we take care of the technical implementation.
