Training: Website Maintenance with Joomla for Beginners

Edit texts, swap images, create articles: in this hands-on training, you will learn to maintain your Joomla website confidently yourself – no prior knowledge required.
What it’s about
A website thrives on staying up to date – but not every text change should require an agency order. In this one-day training, you will learn to maintain the content of your Joomla website yourself: confidently, in a structured way, and without fear of breaking anything. You will work on a practice website built exactly like a real client site.
What you will learn
- Fundamentals: logging in, how the administration is structured, and the most important terms – explained in plain language.
- Maintaining content: editing texts, creating articles and pages, understanding menus.
- Images and files: cropping, compressing, and embedding photos correctly; offering documents for download.
- Good to know: ground rules for search engines, accessibility, and image rights in day-to-day maintenance.
- Security: why updates matter, what backups do, and which tasks are better left to a professional.
Who is this training for?
For employees and owners who will be looking after their company’s or organization’s website in the future. No prior knowledge needed – being comfortable with a PC is enough. On request, the content can also be tailored to your own website.
Schedule and organization
The training lasts one day (with breaks) and takes place in a small group at our offices in Berlin-Kreuzberg – you will find the address, date, and time in the event details. Please bring your own notebook. The price includes training materials and a quick-reference guide for everyday use.
